Message From Treasurer

Professor Md. Ali Azgor Bhuiya currently holds the position of Treasurer at Trust University, Barishal. Professor Bhuiya has been appointed as the Treasurer of Trust University by the Honorable Chancellor and President of People's Republic of Bangladesh. His educational background includes a graduation in Mathematics from Dhaka University in 1975, followed by an M.Sc. in Mathematics from the same university in 1976 and another M.Sc. in Statistics in 1995 from the Bangladesh Agricultural University.

Before becoming Treasurer, Professor Bhuiya served as the Dean of the Faculty of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) at Patuakhali Science and Technology University (PSTU). Under his leadership, the university's various faculties made significant progress in pedagogy, curriculum development, and research, establishing PSTU as a leader in its field. He has also held the position of Chairman of the Department of Statistics at PSTU.

Beyond his academic roles, Professor Md. Ali Azgor Bhuiya is an avid hiker and reader, and he actively mentors young scholars. His dedication to lifelong learning serves as an inspiration to those around him, and his leadership has transformed Trust University, Barishal into a center of knowledge and innovation.

Additionally, he has played key roles as Convener of the Enquiry and Supervision Committee in the Transport Division and has been involved as Convener and Member of the Purchase Committee on several occasions. He has served as the Member Secretary and has been a part of the Examination Committee and Hall Provost multiple times.

Professor Bhuiya's academic contributions include authoring more than 25 papers in refereed journals, reflecting his commitment to scholarly research and academic excellence.
