Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE)
MESSAGE FROM CHAIRMAN
Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) education has entered in a transitional phase due to change the technology day by day. The diversity of EEE education is also increasing its multi-disciplinary nature. From fingertip to the control of airship EEE, stands high and proud. And along with great pride and honor, there comes great responsibilities. The whole world looks forward to Electrical and Electronic Engineers because they are the persons who generate power to enlighten the whole mankind. You can hear electrical engineering in every beep of your digital clock, in your favorite and smoky microwave meal or smoke from short circuit you actually smell electrical engineering. Watching your favorite movie in a Super AMOLED display actually shows you how charismatic and entertaining electrical engineering. Electrical engineering gives you speed through bullet train and steadiness by playing symphony in your music player. Thus, electrical engineering surrounds us.
Welcome to Department of the Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE), Trust University, Barishal. This department comes up to you with the opportunity to obtain in depth knowledge in the field of electrical and electronic engineering. We do not want to draw your attention by saying, we are exactly what you are looking for, because such claim is a lie for any institution in this world, rather we would like to say that electrical and electronic engineering is exactly what we will teach you. Our claim is backed up with our highly qualified faculty members from recognized international institutions university and also from country’s top-notch organizations and high-end lab facilities. Our labs are equipped with cutting edge machineries and equipment placed at our well furbished and arranged circuit lab, digital electronics lab, analog electronics lab, power electronics lab, machine lab and so on. Now standing in a time when the national and international job market is competed by and full of worthy adversary, we spread out firm and well-prepared hand to you as an opportunity to adorn yourself with proper knowledge and skill sets to face it. We look forward to greet you in our campus.

Vision
Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) of Trust University, Barishal has set her goal to gain reputation as a symbol of excellence in spreading knowledge of EEE and to solve real world problems via innovative research and to engage in effective regional, national and international service and outreach.
Mission
Our mission is to work for our long-cherished desire to realize our vision. To do so we want to deliver education of EEE by following a well-structured, competent and of international standard EEE curriculum. We want to ensure not only theoretical knowledge but also attainment of relevant practical skill for our students so that they can serve local and global industry by providing conventional services and also research and development. We believe that it is not only our speech that talks for us only rather it is our thinking, attitude and ethical values also. That is why we want to pave the way to our students to gain suitable attitude, praiseworthy manner and impenetrable morale and ethical strength. It is an undeniable fact that products quench needs of society abide by people. Machines in industry produce products but again at the same time industry is run and governed by some people of our community. So, we can see that both in consumer and manufacturing level it is ultimately interaction with people. That is why we eagerly express our fondness to teach our students workout through team working skill.

Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE)
Program Name: Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronic Engineering
(Abbreviation: B. Sc. in EEE)
Admission: Student will be admitted to the department as per Trust University rules
Duration of the Program: 4 Years
Total Number of Semesters: 4 x 2 = 8 Semesters
Total Number of Credits : (Minimum) 160.5 Credits
Goal
The electrical and electronic engineering program at Trust University, Barishal (TUB) provides an undergraduate education that stresses a basic understanding of engineering principles and how they are applied to the design, analysis, implementation, and testing of electrical, electronic, and digital systems. The overriding goal of the undergraduate electrical-electronic engineering program is to integrate mathematics, science engineering, and computer skills, along with communication and social skills to enhance the productivity and creativity of the engineer. An engineering education, based on a strong liberal arts foundation, prepares students to make contributions to the world guided by concerns for issues of justice and ethical behavior.
Four tracks of study are available in electrical engineering: power track, electronic track, communication track and computer track. Courses in all tracks are the same for the first eleven semesters, but then diverge to allow students to focus more intently on specific interests. The curriculum ensures graduates are well- rounded engineers. Technical electives in various specialties are available for students to pursue their particular interests.
Admission Requirements
Minimum 2nd division in both SSC and HSC with science background or five subjects in O–level and 3 major subjects (Math, Physics and Chemistry) in A–level education are required. The students who have completed under GPA system will have to have a minimum CGPA of 2.5. The O- and A – level students must have an average grade of B.
Those having Diploma Engineering with CGPA 2.5 on the scale of 4.0 or minimum second division in Electrical / Electronic / Computer / Telecommunication / Power / Mechanical are eligible for admission with wavers in some courses as per decision of the departmental equivalence committee. University does not allow GED for any program. But the total exempted credits must not be more than 18 credits.
Frequency of Admission
Admission at the EEE Program will be held 2(two) times / semesters in a year. The Semester in an academic year will be as follows:
Spring | January – June |
Fall | July – December |
As per UGC guideline,
- Total Weeks in a Semester = 18 Weeks
- Total Class Weeks in a Semester = 15 Weeks
- Classes per Week = 2 Classes
- Class duration = 1 hour- 30 Minutes
