Being the Department of Business Administration, aim of the department is to establish with relevant skills that shapes the department for international recognition. In this department, students will receive the required knowledge on business management through an approach that advocates nationalism and international change.
Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA)
Program Name: Bachelor of Business Administration (Abbreviation BBA)Admission: Student will be admitted to the department as per Trust University rules
Duration of the Program: 4 Years
Total Number of Semesters: 4 x 2 = 8 Semesters
Total Number of Credits: (Minimum) 132 Credits
The BBA degree requirements
The BBA degree requirements are as follows:
- Completion of a total of 132 credit inclusive of Internship / Project Work;
- Completion of 42 courses (Total 126 credit);
- Completion of the Internship program / Project Work which contains 6 credit;
- Passing of a course individually and maintaining a minimum cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of 50.
Admission Requirements
The applicant must have successfully completed Higher Secondary Certificate Examination with at least GPA 2.5 either in SSC or HSC. For other eligibility, please consult the Office of the Registrar. For other foreign certificates, equivalence will be determined by the University.
Admission Criteria
Applicants will be required to sit for an admission test designed to judge their abilities and aptitude for the BBA program (English, Mathematics and General Knowledge).
Frequency of Admission
Admission at the BBA Program will be held 2(two) times/semesters in a year. The Semester in an academic year will be as follows:
- Spring: January – June
- Fall: July – December
Curriculum Structure
The enrolled student must successfully complete 44 courses containing total of 136 credits as a BBA degree requirement; including an Internship of 4 credits with a duration of 12 weeks field visit and 4 weeks for preparing the internship report. Therefore, total of 132 credits will be required to complete for the attainment of BBA degree from University The forty-two courses are again distributed into four groups as mentioned below:
- Compulsory Interdisciplinary Courses: 11 [ 33 Credits]
- Core Courses: 25 [ 81 Credits]
- Elective Courses required in each major: 04 [12 Credits ]
- Free Electives Courses: 02 [ 06 Credits]
- 4 weeks Internship: 01 [ 04 Credits]
- Total Courses: 43 Total Credits = 132
Core Courses
The BBA program offers 11 Interdisciplinary Courses, 25 core courses while requiring a student to concentrate in any one of the five major areas by doing four courses in each area. In addition, a student is required to complete two courses as free electives in a selected minor area.

Master of Business Administration (MBA)
Program Name: Master of Business Administration (Abbreviation MBA)Admission: Student will be admitted to the department as per Trust University rules
Duration of the Program: 2 Years
Total Number of Semesters: 2 x 2 = 4 Semesters
Total Number of Credits: (Minimum) 60 Credits
Length of the Program
Participants are expected to complete the MBA degree in two years. However, students enjoying waivers and credit transfer may be able to complete the degree earlier. Students with a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree may be allowed maximum 30 credits waivers from compulsory courses subject to securing grade B+ or above in the respective course(s) at BBA level and complete minimum in one year. The minimum course load for Regular MBA student is 12 credit hours in a semester and in Executive stem it is 9 credits.
Admission Requirements
For admission to the MBA program at University candidate must have a BBA degree from this university or 4/5 years bachelor degree from any other approved university of home and abroad or a bachelor degree and a master degree which altogether are equivalent to 4/5 years bachelor degree and at least 7 points.

The MBA degree requirements
The M.B.A. degree requirements are as follows:
- Completion of 18 courses (54 credit hours) including internship/research report of 6 credits. Other than the students with a BBA degree, students enjoying waivers may complete the degree with fewer courses but has to meet the minimum requirement of the degree of 48 credits (16 courses).
- Passing of all courses individually and maintaining a minimum cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of 2.0.
- The minimum passing grade for internship report is ‘C’.
